Brett + Jocelyn :: Pronghorn Resort Wedding

This was one of those days I can only dream of a photographer. With big blue skies full of happy clouds, vibrant evening light that paved the way for an incredibly stunning sunset, and a truly gorgeous couple who - for eight straight hours - seemed to never to stop smiling, Brett & Jocelyn made my job so easy when they married last month at Pronghorn Resort. As I round the home stretch on yet another year of amazing weddings, it's couples like this that make me feel so fortunate to get to do what I do day in and day out. Sometimes I pinch myself that I get to work with such wonderful people all year long.

Mr. & Mrs. Jones, I am so happy for you!! Your wedding was a dream and I'm beyond grateful you shared it with me. Here's to a lifetime of days as beautiful as this one.

Many thanks to the team of vendors Brett & Jocelyn hired for their big day. Simply put, this wedding would not have been the same without the incredible people (especially Carey Kerns) at Pronghorn, Sara Carson of Blue Daffodil and her amazing florals, Kate Tuma and her stunning hair + makeup, and Foxtail Bakeshop and her gorgeous cake.

Daniel + Michelle :: Oregon Outdoor Wedding

Daniel and Michelle had one of those magical days that made me feel so lucky to have the job that I do. Getting to capture people in love, surrounded by those they love the most while celebrating life together, is a beautiful thing and something I feel truly fortunate to get to do. This summer Mr. + Mrs. Unverferth married in a great big field under a big blue sky, and I couldn't have been any more thrilled to get to document their day.

It's important to note that this wasn't just any field in the country. It was the same special spot where Daniel + Michelle had their first date, and later their first kiss, so many years ago. It was only fitting that these two marry in this field, where they could share their first kiss as husband and wife in front of the family and friends who helped to weave their story together.
