Some of my most favorite types of sessions to photograph are senior portraits. This summer I've been fortunate enough to photograph a handful of absolutely gorgeous high school girls and Jordan is one of those ladies. Last month we adventured into the stunning Bend backdrop near Aspen Hall for an afternoon of pictures by the river. Jordan is entering her final year at Bend High and there is no doubt in my mind that she has an incredibly bright and exciting future ahead of her!
Sometimes we just need a little getaway. Usually for us it happens around the same time fall starts. Summers tend to be a little wild over here. It's a beautiful chaos, but it's full fledged wedding mode until Thanksgiving. Which is great, but can be draining. Sometimes I need a weekend to escape with my boy and remember what it feels like to drive with the windows down and the radio on high. A few weekends ago we escaped on a rare Saturday off to Big Sur. The drive there was brutal but the late night camping above the clouds proved to be worth it.
Sunshine, surfing, and sandy beaches where we were the only two souls in sight. Weekend road trip for the win.
