Paris

January is always a good month. It's the start of a new(ish) season and life seems to be so full of reflection and excitement. Weddings are winding down and engagement session season hasn't quite begun and I get a month to look back over what worked (and what didn't) throughout the past year. I also have a little extra time to work through those personal photos that have been sitting on my computer just waiting to be given some much-deserved attention. I'm excited to share a few long-overdue pictures from a mother-daughter adventure to Europe this summer.

And I'll start with Paris because, well, Paris.

Brett + Jocelyn :: Pronghorn Resort Wedding

This was one of those days I can only dream of a photographer. With big blue skies full of happy clouds, vibrant evening light that paved the way for an incredibly stunning sunset, and a truly gorgeous couple who - for eight straight hours - seemed to never to stop smiling, Brett & Jocelyn made my job so easy when they married last month at Pronghorn Resort. As I round the home stretch on yet another year of amazing weddings, it's couples like this that make me feel so fortunate to get to do what I do day in and day out. Sometimes I pinch myself that I get to work with such wonderful people all year long.

Mr. & Mrs. Jones, I am so happy for you!! Your wedding was a dream and I'm beyond grateful you shared it with me. Here's to a lifetime of days as beautiful as this one.

Many thanks to the team of vendors Brett & Jocelyn hired for their big day. Simply put, this wedding would not have been the same without the incredible people (especially Carey Kerns) at Pronghorn, Sara Carson of Blue Daffodil and her amazing florals, Kate Tuma and her stunning hair + makeup, and Foxtail Bakeshop and her gorgeous cake.
